On average, 9 to 12 months.

Trust & Legitimacy

We identify artists through active counterfeit investigations. We only reach out if we’ve already seen your work targeted by counterfeiters.

We’re a UK-based company that’s represented artists worldwide since 2018. When we contact an artist, it’s because we’ve already confirmed their work has been copied. There’s no cost to take part.

Ownership gives you rights; registration provides enforceability. To pursue legal damages, we need proof of registration, so the court recognizes your copyright claim.

Money & Damages

We can’t guarantee exact figures, but most artists recover between 5 figures (50%) and 6 figures (33%) in total, depending on the strength of the case.

Damages are split as follows:

  • Edwin James IP: 40%
  • Lawyers: 30%
  • Artist: 30%
