The lawyers at Edwin James IP have truly been my “Counter-Fairy Godmothers & Godfathers” – that’s exactly what they’ve been for me! After years of enduring the nightmare of having my art stolen and dealing with lodging countless takedown and counterfeit notices, I was emotionally drained and felt like I was fighting a never-ending battle alone.
Then, one day, I received an email from UK Artist Mark Polyblank and the incredible team at Edwin James IP offering to help. I was so overwhelmed with emotion and relief, I legit burst straight into tears! It was the first time in years I felt like maybe there was hope. During a great Zoom call with Mark, he explained how their process worked, and that’s when the magic began.

The team didn’t ask for a single cent up front – just some background information and some supporting imagery of my stolen art, from there, they went to work! Although no legal process is ever quick, Edwin James IP kept me updated every step of the way. I always felt informed and supported, and that all up, they had mine and my arts backs =)
Today, I am overjoyed & honestly flabbergasted to say that we WON our court case against over 200 online shops that were illegally selling my stolen art! Not only did we win, but we secured a fantastic damages settlement (so basically kicked their thieving butts where it hurts) and had all my images permanently removed from their sites. The outcome exceeded my wildest expectations!

It still blows my mind that real “Counter-Fairy Godmothers & Godfathers” exist – champions who stand alongside artists and fight with them for justice. As I type this, I feel emotional thinking about everything we’ve been through, from the bottom of my heart, thank you to the entire Edwin James IP team for what you’ve done for me, my art, and for the creative community. You’ve given me hope again.
